Sadly, Miandad's first adoptive placement did not work out. An inoperable ankle chip has been discovered and this would not allow him to continue with his training as a jumper.

It is hoped that a period of time off will allow the chip to "set" and thus enable Mian to be placed in a home where he will only be required to assume light hacking and/or companion duties.

Mian is a big (17 HH), handsome, bay horse who loves to play and it is this desire to live each day to the fullest that often causes him to injure himself in the paddock. A small, safe pasture would likely suit him best ideally with one or two quiet equine companions who might be able to convince him a more sedentary lifestyle can be enjoyable too.
