LongRun is happy to welcome Sue Leslie to our Board of Directors. Sue brings to the board a wealth of horse knowledge as well as a world of business acumen. Sue has been an owner/trainer/breeder on the Ontario circuit since 1980 and has served on the boards of the Horsemen's Benevolent and Protective Association and The Canadian Racing Hall of Fame. She currently helps administer the Barn 7 Recovery Fund as well.

Sue currently has a public stable, her most notable client being former Leafs' goalie Curtis Joseph and her regular rider, Rob Landry, also serves on the board of LongRun. Sue was Plate-bound last year with trainee Millennium Allstar, who won the Achievement Stakes; this season, one of the barn stars is Peef, an inexpensive yearling purchase who broke his maiden first time out and was good enough to run third in the Canadian classic Coronation Futurity. One of Sue's chief concerns has always been placing her horses in loving homes after their racing careers came to an end.
