Barbeau Ruckus won a stakes race every season of his six year career, including three victories in both the Elgin and the Steady Growth Stakes. Although he did have a very productive 2006 season at the age of seven, physical limitations precluded him facing the starter again, so his owner, Thavamalar Thayalan, wisely retired him and generously donated him to LongRun. Barbeau Ruckus is currently enjoying some well-eared R and R being fostered and generously sponsored by Tim Drake and his wife Suzanne at their farm in King City, while he waits for a forever home.
